Catrin Rutland Liberal Democrat campaigner for Mackworth

Liberal Democrat members in Mackworth have chosen local resident Catrin Rutland to stand for the area in May's council elections. Catrin, who works as a University Lecturer lives in Mackworth ward on Langley Street.

Catrin said "I have been working closely with Cllr Derrick Tuplin and Cllr Lucy Care to improve things in Mackworth.

"I am particularly delighted that a brand new library is about to be delivered for the people of Mackworth".

Cllr Hilary Jones said "Catrin is a hardworking, articulate young woman, she will be a real champion for people in Mackworth and a great addition to the Lib Dem team on the council."
